Privacy Policy

The short version
Atlas is built by one person, Chris Wallace. It stores only the data you create — projects, tasks, notes, contacts, calendar events, and uploaded files — plus the email and password hash needed to log you in. Nothing is sold, and the only third parties involved are the platforms that host the app.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and a hashed password, handled by Supabase Auth.
- Content: everything you create or upload inside Atlas (projects, tasks, checklists, notes, contacts, calendar events, attachments, wallpapers).
- Operational logs: standard server logs (IP, user-agent, timestamp) generated by our hosting providers, used only to keep the service running and investigate abuse.
We do not run third-party analytics scripts. We do not use advertising cookies. We do not sell or rent your data.
Where your data lives
- Supabase (database, auth, file storage) — hosted on AWS infrastructure.
- Vercel (web hosting and edge runtime).
Both are subprocessors. Their privacy policies apply to data while it is in their custody.
Your controls
- Access & export: everything you put into Atlas is visible to you inside the app. If you need a structured export, contact us.
- Correction: you can edit any item you create at any time.
- Deletion: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete my account permanently erases your data, including uploaded files and your account record.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, content is removed immediately; backups roll off within 30 days.
Security
Connections are encrypted in transit (TLS). Data at rest is encrypted by our hosting providers. Files you upload are stored privately and only accessible via short-lived signed URLs generated for your session.
Children
Atlas is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we'll update the date above and, where reasonable, notify active users by email.
